LEE COUNTY HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD

Overview:
This is a 7-member board appointed by the County Commission to administer the Lee County Historic Preservation regulations (Land Development Code Chapter 22), and provide input about matters affecting the preservation of Lee County's historic resources.
One member of Historic Preservation Board must be an architect registered to practice in the state, with one member from each of the following categories: History or Archaeology, Real Estate, Land Development or Finance, Law or Urban Planning, Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction or Landscape Architecture. The two remaining positions are filled by citizens at large. The Historic Preservation Board meets monthly. For additional information, call 239-533-8585.
